Update from the Summer Shower Trailer ministry food team!!!
***We have a list of items for which we are seeking donations.***
We will be providing our unhoused guests with a brown bag breakfast or lunch on shower days. Our target date to start is May 20th.
Drop off locations for donations located at Unity UMC - 608 National Hwy or West End UMC - 600 Lexington Ave. Receptacles have been provided at the secondary entrances.

Additional note: we are also collecting individual flavor packs for bottled water. With a preference for those that contain electrolytes or vitamins.

BIG Volunteer shout out 🗣️ to all our Winter Shelter volunteers!

Our friend Jamie stopped by the church for a visit to express his thanks to everyone who helped provide a place for him this past winter. 🙌🙌🙌

Jamie became very sick and had an extended hospital stay and recovery but he is doing well now. He has a place to stay! He and I had a really sweet visit and a great conversation. He is so grateful for all you did. Thank you so much for being the hands and feet of Jesus for this man!! ❤️🙏✝️

URGENT NEED!!! We must replace this water faucet so we can supply water to our shower trailer! We need to raise $300 right away!!! Can you HELP???

We have a little bit of cleaning and organizing to do but the shower trailer ministry, "Summer Showers" will be able to offer some nice amenities! Four showers (with hot and cold water), six vanity sinks and a washer and dryer!

We have an exciting new effort to help our homeless friends coming soon. This will be a continuation of our ministry with the goal of providing critical services and staying connected with our homeless friends.
