🐷🎨 A little paint, a little country driving, and a LOT of good karma! 🐾❤️

Our friends at Flying Pig Animal Sanctuary need some helping hands on the 23rd Annual Hands On Thomas County Day presented by 1915 South | Ashley on Saturday, October 24 from 9am-noon. Here’s the scoop:

🐾 First: This place, its people, and its animals are seriously cool.

🎨 Second: They need adult volunteers (family units with mature older teens are welcome) to help paint animal houses and structures. No fancy art skills required — just a willingness to show up and be neat and conscientious!

🚗 Third: It's about a 40-minute drive from Thomasville, and yes, the road is a little windy. Consider it a scenic adventure with a purpose!

❤️ Fourth — and most importantly: Flying Pig is one of the few animal rescues in our area, and they could really use our help. These folks do important work for animals who need a safe place to land, and this is a simple, hands-on way to give back.

So, who’s up for a little DIY, some fresh air, and making life better for our four-legged friends? Grab your family, round up a friend, and help us show Flying Pig some love! 🐷🐶🐱

So many cool places to volunteer!

Volunteers Make a Difference at Pebble Hill! 🌿

Today, we’re grateful for a hardworking group of volunteers who are helping trim the fig vine in the Tennis Court. Their time and talents help us care for the beautiful historic landscape that makes Pebble Hill so special.

Pictured left to right: Melissa Peterson of Tallahassee, Diane Stille of Thomasville, PHP Landscape Supervisor Laura Strickland, and Jim and Gail Seifert of Thomasville.

Pebble Hill relies heavily on the dedication and generosity of our volunteers, and there are many ways to get involved! From assisting with school groups and special events to helping decorate the Main House for Christmas, there is an opportunity for everyone to share their time and talents.

Interested in becoming a Pebble Hill volunteer? We would love to have you join us! ❤️
