“The scholarship meant so much to me because it helped make my educational goals possible while allowing me to continue investing in the community I love.”

That’s the impact of investing in local students. 🎓

A TU alumna and former Grady County Scholarship recipient, Nyhema Kelly received her MBA from Thomas University and is the Founder and CEO of Early Learning Academy

She was already building that vision when she attended TU. Earning her degree gave her additional knowledge and tools to strengthen her work. Today, she serves children and families through childcare, homeschool services, tutoring, and educational programming in Grady and surrounding counties.

A scholarship helped Nyhema Kelly pursue her education while continuing to invest in the community she loves. Help make the next story possible by supporting the Grady County Student Scholarship Fund.

Join us Thursday, October 22, at Collins Place for a murder mystery dining experience featuring the Syrup City Players! Tickets start at $150, with sponsorship opportunities available. Visit https://thomasu.edu/tickets/possum-holler-murder-mystery-2026.html for tickets and details.

Can’t attend? You can still support students like Nyhema. Make a gift at https://secure.qgiv.com/for/thomasuniversitydonorformprimary and select “Grady County Scholarships” (700-3712).
