Greater Vision Outreach Ministry The Bob and Carolyn Tucker Greater Vision Outreach Ministry offers a variety of resources to North Carolina families in need of support and stability.

Greater Vision Outreach is a self-sufficiency program which offers food and clothing distribution, health and education programs, and referrals to help families achieve the goal of being self-sufficient. Headquartered at Baptist Children's Homes of North Carolina's (B*H) Mills Home campus in Thomasville, Greater Vision will provide a statewide outreach to strengthen families and encourage spiritua

l growth. Greater Vision offers a variety of services including food and clothing distribution, education programs, and referral and preventive services. The lead gift to start the new outreach was given by Bob and Carolyn Tucker, founders of Shoe Show, Inc. Partnering with local faith and community-based organizations are vital to helping families overcome challenges. Through Greater Vision, nonprofits will be able to network with each other, share resources and benefit from education opportunities.

Ever heard of Friends of Children and wondered what it is? 👋

Friends of Children (FOC) Workdays are one-day, hands-on mission opportunities for churches, families, youth groups, and individuals to serve children, families, and aging adults across North Carolina — right here in your own state.

Through practical projects like landscaping, cleaning, and facility work, volunteers come alongside B*H staff to strengthen the campuses where healing and hope happen every day. Lunch is provided, and all ages are welcome.

This fall, workdays are happening at five B*H campuses across NC:

📅 October 10 — Clyde, Pembroke & Shelby
