🎼 We are excited to publicly reveal the 89th season of the TEF Concert Series in the coming weeks, but current season ticket holders get first chance to renew their subscriptions! Renewal packets with all the details are being mailed this week, so watch your mail 📬 and secure your tickets soon. 🎟️ Another stellar lineup of acclaimed artists and ensembles is set for the 2026-27 season.

Always a nice event - TEF’s Annual Dinner Meeting of the Board of Trustees, where we thank those who are retiring or rotating off the board, welcome first-time or returning trustees and recognize our incoming slate of officers for the new year. Since 1937, TEF has been a volunteer-powered organization, and our dedicated and hardworking trustees make it possible to meet our nonprofit mission! 👏🏻

Cheers 🥂 to our partners at The Fox Theatre and its community partnership program, Fox Gives, for their support of the arts 🎭 and historic performance venues 🎶 in Downtown Thomasville, Georgia! We were happy to be on hand today to celebrate TWO great grants 💰 for our community - $65,000 toward Thomasville Center for the Arts’ theatre lighting replacement/upgrade and $500,000 toward the City of Thomasville, GA - Government’s renovation of the Municipal Auditorium!

Today kicks off National Volunteer Week, and TEF has some of the best! 💕 We couldn’t do all we do without their gifts of time, talent and resources year after year, season after season. 👏🏼 Whether out front or behind the scenes, TEF’s army of dedicated volunteers and supporters helps us meet our live performance and educational outreach mission. While this photo is just a small representative sample, we are grateful for each and every one!

Yesterday’s “American Songbook” 🇺🇸 by Bright Star Children’s Theatre marked the finale of TEF’s 88th performance season. 🎶 We’re thankful for all our patrons, supporters, volunteers, donors, program book advertisers, partners and trustees who made 2025-26 another successful season for both the TEF Concert Series and the TEF Family Series. THIS MORNING - Join us for FREE FAMILY FUN as the TEF Family Series presents a musical celebration of America’s 250th birthday 🇺🇸 with a journey through songs of our country’s history. Bright Star Children’s Theatre takes the stage at 11 am with “American Songbook” in the Thomasville Center for the Arts auditorium, 600 E. Washington Street. Lots of audience interaction and some sing-along opportunities! 🎶

📰 Thanks, Thomasville Times-Enterprise, for sharing our upcoming FREE TEF Family Series commemorating America’s 250th birthday. 🇺🇸 Aimed primarily at elementary-aged children but appropriate for the whole family, Bright Star Children’s Theatre’s one-hour production of “American Songbook” 🎵 shares songs from chapters America’s history, with plenty of audience interaction and even some “singalong” opportunities. This Saturday, March 28, 11 am, at Thomasville Center for the Arts - 600 E. Washington Street. 🎭 Honoring TEF’s Artistic Director Emeritus Janice Faircloth and made possible by support from the Parker Poe Charitable Trust, Emily & Bill Searcy Charitable Trust, Dr. & Mrs. Douglas C. McPherson, family and friends of Janice Faircloth and other friends of TEF.
