And for our last announcement… 👀 Your new Seasonal Programs Coordinator is…

Greg Hyche!!
My name is Greg and I am the new Seasonal Programs Coordinator! The last two summers I have served as a Lead Coordinator, and it is good to be back at Ridgecrest! It has been very exciting to prepare for this summer and I cannot wait to reconnect with or meet all of you!

Fun facts:
- I am originally from Auburn, Alabama and recently graduated from Auburn University.

- I love pickleball and all things Star wars

- My favorite place to eat in black mountain is trailhead

We’re so excited to announce the new Catawba House Lead Coordinator… 🧡 🪨

Helen Waggener!!
I’m from Wake Forest, North Carolina and I’m a Junior BSN at Ouachita Baptist University in arkadelphia, Arkansas. This is my 3rd year on summer staff but my first year as an LC. The past two years I’ve worked in grounds and outlets. I’m super excited to get to spend the summer glorifying God through work and worship in the beauty of the Carolina mountains!

We have also been working on redesigning each house logo. We hope you love our new Catawba House logo as much as we do!!

We’re so excited to announce the new Kitsuma House Lead Coordinator… ⛰️ 🩵

Ryan Copeland!!
It’s me Ryannn! I’m from Knoxville, TN, and I’m a Junior at the University of Tennessee. This is my 3rd year on summer staff but my first year as an LC. The past two years I’ve worked in AVCS and Food Service!

Fun facts:
-I love cooking!

- I enjoy singing and playing piano/ukulele

-My absolute favorite color is Blue! (Go Kitsuma!)

I am very excited to see familiar faces and meet new faces. God is going to do such amazing this summer and I can’t wait to experience it with you all!

We’re so excited to announce the new Lupine House Lead Coordinator… 🪻💜

Jade Asaro!!
Jade is from Lincolnton, NC, and this will be her second Summer serving with Ridgecrest Summer Staff. Last year, she was part of our Adventure Recreation crew, and she continues to work at Ridgecrest as one of our 2025–2026 interns. Jade is thrilled for another opportunity to serve God and serve you this summer. Her heart is to be the hands and feet of Jesus and to shine His light in everything she does!
Some fun facts about Jade:

1. She enjoys cruising on her skateboard 🛹
2. She hopes to one day live in Europe and travel the world 🌎
3. She loves animals, and possibly wants to work with them one day 🐾

Rich Smith!!
Rich is a senior at Belhaven University where he majors in Business Administration and Film Production, with a minor in Biblical Studies. This will be his third year working with Ridgecrest Summer Staff. In the past, he has worked in AV/CS and Food Service. He looks forward to serving and working along side you all!!
