ISO an old fiddle!
I’m working on a center display for the Library/Museum. It doesn’t need to be in good shape and the older looking the better. It will be behind displayed behind the ropes so not to be touched and I will return it in March. If you have one or know someone who does please send them my way!

The Veterans Day display is almost complete. If you have a photograph of a family member or friend who has served or are serving and would like it added to our Wall of Honor please bring it by the Thomasville Public Library. We would love to add it to the wall.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Ashley Dunn, Karen Prescott Dunn, Olivia Dunn, Russ, DeWana Davidson Coopwood, Chris, Z, and Lee for your help with the new planters at the library!! We would still be working if you all hadn’t stopped to help!! The planters are beautiful!! Ignore the pots with the missing plants, they will be in next week and we will get them finished!! Oh and thank you Sheldon Allison Day for lining them up. My nerves wouldn’t have been able to handle it 😂

**WE HAVE TO GET THE ORDER IN BY WEDNESDAY TO GET THE ENLARGEMENTS IN TIME. IF YOU HAVE ANY PHOTOS PLEASE SEND THEM!

**Looking for old photos of Thomasville, Al!! 1888-to 1980’s.
We are working on the museum piece in the new public library and needing old photos! We will scan them for reprint and get them back to you. I have several copies of photos but now looking for the originals if we can find some. The older the better! Thomasville was founded in 1888 so if you have any that go back that far we’d love see them and of course I’ll need the history behind the photo.

We are also collecting items from our past that can be placed on loan or donated to the library. Anything made at a business in thomasville, things maybe purchased at old stores, local store signs, old uniforms from first responders, anything from the radar base, old restaurants etc. These would of course be on loan and returned to you when you need them back. We want to display as much of our history as we possibly can.

You can contact Amy Prescott at 334-830-6604 or the Thomasville Public Library 334-636-5343.
