September 11th is a day that will stand in history as a day that changed our nation forever. It was a day of unimaginable loss, courage, and unwavering unity.
As we honor the lives taken on 9/11, we also remember the heroes who ran towards danger, the families that carry the weight of that day, and the service members that answered the call in the years that followed. Many in our own VFW community served, deployed, and sacrificed in the shadow of that moment.
Today, we pause to reflect. We stand together and reaffirm our promise to NEVER forget.
May we continue to honor the memory of 9/11 not just with words, but in the way we support one another, serve our communities, and uphold the values that define us as Americans.
