🎭✨ History came to life through our DOT Youth!

Our students did an incredible job bringing influential Black historical figures to life during our Black History Wax Museum. From research to presentation, they showed confidence, creativity, and pride in the legacy they carry.

We are so proud of every student who participated and every leader who poured into them.

The future is bright. 🖤

Today our little ones learned the beautiful truth that God made each of us special 💕
We read Psalm 139:14: “I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”

We started with Psalm 100 and learned how to meditate on God’s Word:

Step 1: Clear your thoughts 🧠
Put aside stress, busyness, and anything that keeps you from focusing on God.

Step 2: Read slowly 📖
Don’t rush , let each word sink in so you really hear what God is saying.

Step 3: Clear your head of distractions 🙌
Turn off the noise around you and give God your full attention.

When we take time to pause, focus, and listen, God’s Word can sink deep into our hearts ❤️.

🌈 Coat of Many Colors Recap 🌈

This past Sunday in DOT Kids’ church we learned about Joseph and his special coat (Genesis 37). Joseph’s father gave him a colorful coat, but his brothers grew jealous. Even when life seemed unfair, God was with Joseph and had a bigger plan for his future. 💡

✨ Big Truth: God has a special plan for each of us , even when things don’t go our way.
📖 Memory Verse: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord. – Jeremiah 29:11

🎨 The kids decorated their own “coats” with bright colors and talked about how God gave each of us unique gifts and talents.

Let’s remember this week → Instead of being jealous of others, we can celebrate that God made us all special and loved! 💖
