Seniors from Upson Lee High School participated in the 2026 Project SEARCH Skills Assessment Day at Upson Regional Medical Center on March 31, 2026.

With the support of dedicated volunteers from URMC, Thomaston-Upson Schools, and Wiregrass Resource Group, students rotated through hands on workstations designed to showcase essential workplace skills. Activities included sorting, stocking, folding, tray preparation, proper PPE use, sanitizing, teamwork, critical thinking and mock interviews.

We are proud of these students for their hard work and professionalism as they prepare for future career opportunities.

The interns volunteered at the Night with the Stars, the URMC employee service awards banquet. They got to dress up and even show off some of their dance moves! It was a great learning opportunity as they were able to do something completely different and stretch their comfort zones a little bit. We are so proud of their progress and growth!
