With the help of Valley Restoration LLC our Lights Crew (Michael Glick, Matt De Long, and Tom LeVasseur) got an early start on fixing the lights on the First Congregational Church Of Thomaston.

For a minimum of two years those lights have been barely hanging on. The height and angles are difficult to access in a firetruck or bucket truck.

Without the help of a 120’ lift donated by Paul Bastiaanse from Valley Restoration the guys would not have been able to accomplish everything they did yesterday. Mike and Matt were in a 120’ lift for 14 hours with minimal breaks replacing upwards of 800 brackets and bulbs while restringing the cords to remove the eyesore of hanging light strands from the spire of the church.

Let’s all take a moment to thank these selfless four who donated a full day to such a wonderful cause.
