Today at Miracle Mommas, we’re carefully packaging a few special requests—each one a reminder of why we do this work.

🩵 Two Comfort Hearts are heading to Texas.
🩷 An Angel Gown and a Comfort Heart are making their way to Ohio.

Each piece is prepared with love, with the hope of bringing a little comfort to families navigating loss. To every family receiving a package: we are holding you and your precious babies in our hearts.

Thank you so much to State Representative Laura Faver Dias and State Senator Mary Edly-Allen for collecting wedding gowns the month of October 🩵🩷

Volunteers at Miracle Mommas will transform each wedding gown into Angel Gowns and Comfort Hearts for families in Illinois and across the nation 🕊 🇺🇸

October 15th is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. About 1 in 4 families will or have experienced a loss of a pregnancy or infant. Today, we show our deep support for the families who are grieving or have gone through this life-altering tragedy.

In honor of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month in October, we're partnering with Miracle Mommas to collect wedding dresses that they then turn into bereavement gowns for families who have experienced a loss. This heartfelt gesture offers great comfort to grieving families who have gone through a heartbreaking loss.

If you'd like to donate a wedding dress, you can drop it off at one of the locations below. Donations will be accepted through November 15th.

🩵 A Little Pop of Blue, a Whole Lot of Love!

Our Comfort Hearts usually feature soft white or ivory details, but this time, we had a little fun with color! These beautiful blue rosettes add a sweet finishing touch, and we’re so happy with the transformation. ✨

Each Comfort Heart is made with care for a family navigating loss. Choosing these little details is one of the special parts of creating them.

🩵🩷 Community Cares Fair Recap & Special Announcement! 🩷🩵

Last week, Miracle Mommas had the wonderful opportunity to participate in the Community Cares Fair at the College of Lake County!

We loved connecting with fellow community organizations, sharing the mission of Miracle Mommas, and meeting so many individuals interested in volunteering, interning, sewing Angel Gowns and Comfort Hearts, and supporting local families.

Thank you to College of Lake County, State Senator Mary Edly-Allen, and State Representative Laura Faver Dias for including us and creating such a meaningful space for connection and service!

We Forgot the Supplies, Not the Mission! 🩷🩵

Forgot the business cards, ran out of flyers, and realized we didn’t have a tablecloth—so we improvised with a leftover dollar-store tablecloth from one of my kids’ parties! 😅 But sometimes the most imperfect moments still turn into the biggest successes. 🩷🩵

We had a wonderful time representing Miracle Mommas at the Community Cares Fair hosted by the College of Lake County. We connected with other nonprofit and charitable organizations and met so many people interested in volunteering and helping us serve more moms, babies, and families.

We also had the pleasure of running into Representative Laura Faver Dias!

The setup may not have gone exactly as planned, but the meaningful conversations, new connections, and incredible community support made the event a true success. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table and learned more about the Miracle Mommas mission! 🩷🩵
