Last weekend was another great night at the Luke Ford Jr. Bayou River All-Star Basketball Game.

Congratulations to all of this year’s Champions, MVPs and players who put on an incredible show. Big thanks to our sponsors and everyone who helped make this event possible — and to our fellow Lions Club members who stepped up and made it all happen behind the scenes.

🦁 Great night at this week’s Thibodaux Lions Club meeting!

We were honored to welcome Tommy Rybacki, Head Football Coach at Nicholls State University, as our guest speaker. Coach Rybacki shared insights on leadership, teamwork, and the direction of the program—an enjoyable experience for our members.

We appreciate him taking the time to join us and speak to the club.

As always, it’s great to come together, connect, and continue finding ways to serve our community.

Our Lions have been busy cooking lately—from feeding the Nicholls Baseball team to serving up a huge jambalaya at The Upside Downs event. We’re honored to be part of events that make such a difference and proud to be part of a community that shows up and gives back!

Our Annual $10,000 Raffle was a huge success, and we’re excited to announce this year’s lucky winners:

🥇 1st Place: Ryan Rodrigue ($10,000)
🥈 2nd Place: Celia Ordoyne Cheramie ($1,000)
🥉 3rd Place: Mark & Holly Adams ($500)

Although our winners were not in attendance Saturday night, we are thrilled to congratulate them!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who purchased tickets, attended, donated, volunteered, and supported this event. This fundraiser would not be possible without you.

We’d also like to thank Rendezvous for their continued hospitality in allowing us to utilize their venue once again, the band members and crew from “Good Feelings” for keeping the energy high all night, and all of our Lions Club members who work behind the scenes to make events like this happen.
