🙌🏽Our very first Soirée was a SUCCESS, and we could not have done it without our amazing community! 💜

It was a night with a purpose, supporting the mission of The DaMyri Stepter Foundation and the individuals and families we serve.

And trust me… this is only the beginning. There is so much MORE TO COME! 🙏🏾✨

💜 OCTOBER IS BLINDNESS AWARENESS MONTH 💜

At The DaMyri Stepter Foundation, our mission goes far beyond raising awareness, we are committed to making a difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by blindness and visual impairment.

These pictures represent just a small part of what we do. Through the generosity of our supporters, we have been blessed to:

🦯 Provide white canes and other essential resources to help promote independence and mobility.

💜 Award financial grants to children and families affected by blindness and visual impairment.

👓 Assist with vision-related needs, appointments, travel, educational support, and resources that can help individuals live more independently.

🤝 Support families so they know they are not alone on this journey.

📚 Educate our community and bring greater awareness to Retinitis Pigmentosa, inherited retinal diseases, blindness, and visual impairment.

Every cane we purchase, every grant we give, and every family we support represents hope, opportunity, and a step toward greater independence.

This foundation was created from my personal journey, but God has allowed our journey to grow into a mission to serve others. We will continue advocating, educating, supporting families, and working toward our ultimate goal of establishing a local center for the blind and visually impaired.

During Blindness Awareness Month, we ask our community to help us continue shining a light on blindness and visual impairment…not just in October, but EVERY DAY!
