FREE COMPOST — 30 more minutes to grab some free compost at the Farmers Market!! Free if you bring your own container to put it in. Bagged is $5 (normally $15). Dirt Works is out of Worland and Caitlin Youngquist is a PhD Soil Scientist. Come with your questions for about soil, compost, and gardening.

NEW DATE … Our Farm 2 Fork Dinner has been rescheduled. It will take place this Sunday, August 30th at 5-6:00pm. We hope you will be able to join us for this wonderful dinner with local meat and produce. The bison brisket is from Red Canyon Ranch, Hessenthaler Corn, Coleslaw, Carrot Cake and BBQ Beans made with locally grown produce.
If you bought tickets for the previous date, they are still good. If you have questions or want to buy tickets ahead of time, call Cindy Toth at 864-2060 or Kelly Strampe at (307) 870-2726; Red Dirt Master Gardeners. Only 50 tickets will be sold.

If you are relying on your lawn sprinklers to water your trees, they may not be getting enough. Hot and dry conditions are especially tough on trees. Make sure trees receive around 10 gallons for each inch of trunk diameter (3" thick trunk = 30 gallons of water) each week during the growing season. Apply water at the dripline, where the roots can use it most efficiently.

IT’S FAIR TIME!! ❤️🤍💙 … Come join us for the Fashion Show that we host, 3:00pm in the Fairbuilding. . A lot of 4H youth have been working hard on their sewing projects and are ready to show them off!! It’s an Open Class event so we may even see some adults. It’s a lot of fun and amazing to see the creativity and skill of the participants. … Refreshments will follow the Show. Stick around for Family Fun Nite at 6:00 pm. Inflatables, music with Keith O’ Brien and other fun activities for the family.
