We had another well attended community outreach session at Friends of Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center.
Rob Bowe held Rock River Settlement Stories "The Edge of The Great Marshes" on Wed June 17,2026.
Everyone enjoyed the power point presentation that held a lot of rare photos.
Our suggestion is to take a day trip with your family to this awesome location. The building is beautiful and the Marsh is teaming with wildlife and the scenery is spectacular.
Be sure to stop and say hi to Marshall 🐢.

We want to thank the Wisconsin Auto Museum for touring our Solomon Juneau Historical Homestead Campus on Thursday June 11th 2026. Mother Nature wasn't playing nice and the show cars headed home quickly after their picnic at Riverside Park. There were a few brave souls that ventured out to see us and the homes that were all open for tours.
Contact Rob Bowe or Jim Polster to set up private tours for school groups, Homeschool groups, adult tour groups, or even a large family reunion group.
Our usual open houses are the last Sunday of the month (June - Sept) from 1-4 pm. We are open rain or shine.

We want to thank all of our friends, members, volunteers, vendors, sponsors who made Yellowstone Trail Day along Hwy 175 Wisconsin event on June 6th, 2026, a good one! The Model T rides were fun, and the Blacksmith shop was busy too. We appreciated Dutch Touch Greenhouse & Lawn Services coming in the day before with much needed mulch to spruce up the gardens & grounds. Please share any photos you took of this fun event!

Thank You Lions!

The Theresa Lions Club has made a generous contribution to the Theresa Historical Society and is now a major sponsor of the Theresa Historical Society's Augtoberfest Community Celebration, honoring America's 250th birthday and the 180th anniversary of Theresa's founding. Presenting the check to THS Augtoberfest Committee member Laura Bruederle from left are Lions Club President John Westphal, Laura Bruederle, Treasurer Heidi Krueger, and Secretary Theresa Bodden. Augtoberfest festivities will be held in downtown Theresa on August 15 and 16.
