The FCSA has lost a giant.
We are saddened to announce that Frank Bieck has passed away.

Frank is a long time competitor and member of the FCSA.
Frank is a former World champion at Raton, but more importantly was a friend to all and a true gentleman.
He is survived by His son Patrick , also a former world champion, Daughter in law Christy, and a host of friends and family.

Thanks for the good times Frank.

Mason Whitehorn Powell Fifty Caliber Shooters Association (FCSA) 1000-yard World Champion at 20 years old in 2015.
Pictured with Dale Arenson and Mark Avakian, two record setting champions.
Also 8 years earlier with Uncle Ricky, Dad, and his brother Andrew Powell. Andrew ended up being 3 time Junior Champion, then Rookie of the Year at 18.

I received this message by Messenger: "Trying you guys for help again. I have a surefire socom Suppressor but they discontinued them and I can't find a muzzle brake to attach it. I need SureFire SOCOM Muzzle Brake SFMB-SPS50-TAC50. I'm hoping someone in the group has an extra. It's the model made for the McMillan Tac-50 in 1x14 thread pitch."

We had a great weekend of shooting at Raton for the Spring Raton Regional. It was made all the more meaningful as we shot over Memorial day weekend. We owe it all to the men and women who sacrificed with their lives and their service and we as FCSA members are proud to honor their memories. Although we had a lot of rain delays and interruptions, We finally got it done. Many thanks to Roy Thompson, Scott Kierstead, Randy Ofstad for putting on the match, and to everybody else who showed up to shoot and help. We had a new junior shooter who really showed out. Kourtny Bullard, the granddaughter of Archa and Kelly Haymaker shot a 6" 50-2x on her second group. Great shooting Kourtny, she will be a force to be recokened with. She even helped load her own ammo. Good job Kelly and Archa. It was also cool to see father and son team Mike and Patrick McCarty come out and shoot with us.
