🚨 It's Brake Safety Week!

August 23–29, 2026 is CVSA Brake Safety Week, and inspectors across North America will take a closer look at CMV brake systems — with special attention on brake drums and air disc brake rotors.

Before you roll, check:

➡️ Brake hoses & tubing — chafing, kinks, cracks, leaks
➡️ Pushrod travel & slack adjusters — excessive travel or improper operation
➡️ Brake linings, pads & shoes — excessive wear or damage
➡️ Drums & rotors — cracks, excessive wear or structural damage
➡️ Air system — listen for leaks and verify proper operation

Find it before the inspector does. Fix it before you get on the road.

Welcome one and all as we extend a warm invitation to join us this weekend, August 30th at Al’s On 7th (2627 7th Ave S, Birmingham.Al 36233 ) at 7PM for the Encore viewing of the Award Winning ( 2026 LGBTQ+ Impact Award) Documentary “Rainbow Rider” as well as seeing the newest version of the onsite! Meet the amazing team behind this incredible project and enjoy the camaraderie of community as we come together after the 2nd city debut during the 28th Annual Sidewalk Film Festival which takes place Aug 24th-30th in which this documentary is scheduled for 1st viewing Aug 30th 2:15(?) 2:30.
