Today we remember & pray for the Father’s in prison whom are away from their children. We ask for God’s strength in their lives & the lives of the children missing Dad at home. We praise God for the eternal Father he is to all of his children. May we seek him first for guidance to be the Fathers, Mother’s, Son’s, & Daughters God calls us to be!

Incase you missed it, Check out the April edition of TDCJ’s “The Echo” In-Prison Newspaper. On page 22 online you will notice our own Executive Director, Jason Wysong pictured beside the Wyndham School District Superintendent Kristina Hartman (Far right) & the Prison Show Staff for their article.
As we know, Jason not only serves as a Volunteer Mentor himself Behind the Walls at several Units, attends meetings & Networking events like the recently held TDCJ Summit with Staff on expanding Mentor programming in new Units in his Executive Director role. You can also catch Jason every other Friday Night after 10pm on the Prison Show for his widely popular “Mentor Moment” segment where he shares a short story, inspirational topic & a Bible Verse meant to Encourage, Lift the spirits, & even challenge the Incarcerated Men & Women listening to continue to improve themselves every day.

In a time when so much political division exists, we pray for continued Bi-Partisan support for positive changes for our Brothers & Sisters Behind the Walls.

Liberals have often cited the need for criminal justice reform. However, it is conservatives that appear to making more headway.

As we celebrate the final Day of another Second Chance Month, we are not only Grateful for every every opportunity & open door for the Men & Women returning to our communities to make a successful Reentry. We are Thankful for every Day the Good Lord gives us all a Second Chance in our walk with Christ! May the spirit of Gratitude & Second Chances remain with us all year long.

C.R.J.M.A is pleased to again support Second Chance month! As we partner with Men & Women across the State in their Reentry plan through Mentoring, we continue to advocate & pray for more Second Chance opportunities for those same individuals returning to our communities.
