We didn’t get the W this weekend. But what we brought home meant more than a ring. Our girls faced adversity, never gave up, bonded together, and learned that they’re family through it all.
There were so many great moments this weekend- we want to highlight each girl individually!
💙Emma C. threw a girl out at home all the way from center field!
💙Emma G. hit a two RBI single in a clutch moment to bring us up from behind.
💙Quinn laid down a nasty bunt and her speed got her safe at first, also stealing multiple bases on the day!
💙Abigail’s pitching was lights out. Only walking 3 out of 72 batters faced.
💙Braelyn had an amazing diving catch at 3rd- a position she’s only played for 3 weeks.
💙Emmy made an incredible catch in right field to get the third out and get us out of a jam (plus showed off some pretty sweet harmonica skills in the dugout).
💙Avery got every dropped third strike out at first- one all the way from the backstop.
💙Anne made an amazing “never quit” play and got the force out at 2nd.
💙Lilah had a crazy, vertical jump catch at first. Seriously, we don’t know how she jumped that high!
💙Faith had some heads up base running, where she managed to knock the ball out of the second baseman’s glove to make it safe when we needed runners most!
💙Molly who took a ball to the head at short stop and never quit- still making every play that came her way!
