Partnering w/local businesses & the community, creating awareness & giving back to local non-profit organizations since 2001. The Woodlands Car Club was founded in March 2001 by a local group of car enthusiasts to create friendships, fellowship, foster relationships with local business and community, create awareness for and give back to local non-profit organizations in Montgomery County. Since 2
001, TWCC has raised and donated over $100,000 to local charities in our community. TWCC is comprised of a small group of volunteers that are very dedicated and enthusiastic about the overall mission to support non-profit agencies that serve the community in a variety of ways. TWCC welcomes all types of cars/vehicles from classics, hot rods, exotics, and more. The only type of vehicles that is difficult to accommodate are the late model lifted trucks w/tire sizes over 31". We do encourage diversity and feel it is important that we can use our special vehicles at local events for such great causes, but we do have some restrictions on type & size of vehicles in this particular venue at Market Street for The Woodlands Cars & Coffee for a Cause event. The trucks are welcome to park however, in any area OUTSIDE of the main ring road around the central park green space area. Most usually park adjacent to the hotel. Since space is limited at Market Street, parking is on a first-come, first-serve basis, & we start letting vehicles in around 6 a.m., at which time a donation of ANY amount will be collected, cash or credit card. For first time participants, you will be asked to fill out a waiver/information form. The Woodlands Cars & Coffee for a Cause Charity Car Display event was created by one of the original founding members of The Woodlands Car Club, Dana Pritchard in 2009. The Woodlands Car Club enthusiasts gather at Market Street the first Sunday of each month from 6ish to 10ish a.m., to continue efforts to provide a fun and creative way to give back to our community. The purpose behind this event is for us to provide a morning gathering to show off special vehicles within the car community, be a supportive partner with Market Street and the local community, share information about needful non-profit organizations in Montgomery County, and to give back monetarily as well. TWCC collects donations for our contribution to the Market Street “Change for Charities” program that will benefit non-profit organizations in Montgomery County. TWCC has collected and donated over $50,000 to local charities from this event since 2009. Thank you to ALL who support our mission in "Using Our Cars to Give Back to Our Community. ~Dana Pritchard
