Military Families and Friends

Our last packing that I will be involved in was last night. We had so many great people that got donated items, helped sort and pack. It was great. We packed 61 boxes. Once I get those mailed my duties with Military Families and Friends will be over. It's been 7 great years...but I'm ready to move on. So many people were involved with all the fundraisers, packings and meetings and I thank you all so much. It made my job that much easier. The baton has been handed off to Susan Huff and Emily Catechis with the VFW to keep sending the care packages to the troops. They, along with the combined VFW and the original group with MFF, it'll be even bigger and better.

Had a great packing today...the 5th & 6th grade Sunday School class at The Woodlands United Church packed 67 boxes for the troops this morning! They're such a great group of kids. This is the 3rd or 4th year we've done this and they pack more and more boxes every year!!

Come out to Drifters Icehouse and take a ride. Proceeds go towards shipping care packages to the troops!

The craft and trade show went pretty well Saturday. At least all the vendors sold something and that says alot when it comes to craft shows. Thanks everybody!

Get out of the wind tomorrow and into The Woodlands United Methodist Church for our craft and trade show. We have all kinds of vendors from homemade items to Scentsy, Tupperware etc. So come out and support our local vendors and our cause which is sending care packages to the troops!!!

Our Craft and Trade Show is April 21st at The Woodlands United Methodist Church from 9am - 3pm. Save the date to shop at the different vendors booths and see all the wonderful crafts.

What a wonderful day at Rookies yesterday! Great times were had, sold out of crawfish and Military Families and Friends made $1,565 to ship care packages to the troops!!! Great stuff! Many thanks to Rookies for all they do and to the awesome people that came out and took part in the pool tournament, raffle and 50/50! Love you guys!
