BSA Troop 204 - The Woodlands Texas Troop 204 - The Woodlands, Texas Welcome to Troop 204 of the Tall Timbers District, Sam Houston Area Council, Boy Scouts of America. We are chartered by Sts.

Simon & Jude Catholic Church in The Woodlands, Texas. Troop 204 is a scout-run troop. The troop currently has approximately 121 registered Scouts and an equally impressive strength of adult volunteers and trained adult leaders serving on our committee and Scoutmaster corps. The scouts organize a variety of outdoor adventures, camping activities, skills training and rank advancement opportunities,

and community service opportunities. We also attend Camporee, provide several options for summer camps per year, plus participate in Winter Camp. Our camping trips include rock climbing trips, hiking trips, canoe and water trips, bicycling campouts and spelunking/cave touring trips to name a few. We have made numerous trips Philmont Scout Ranch, Florida Sea Base, and other high adventure opportunities.

Camporee 2017 - Day 1
The morning was spent in patrol competitions with activities such as archery, hatchet toss, obstacle course, lashings, first aid stretcher run, sawing logs, fire starting, knot tying, isotope, outdoor ethics quiz, casting rods, and orienteering (handled by Troop 204).
After lunch and campfire skit auditions, the Scouts now spend the after noon in a race to the Cornucopia. A relay race of 12-15 tests and skills events.

Troop 204 participated in Scouting for Food and collected about 2,000 pounds of food for the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry for our charter organization, Sts. Simon and Jude Catholic Church.
