Human trafficking is a pervasive and devastating issue, often hidden in plain sight within our communities. It is the second-fastest growing criminal industry in the United States, affecting countless individuals, including vulnerable children and youth aging out of foster care.
In response to this crisis, Dying Inside Nonprofit, a survivor-led organization based in Texas and Tennessee, is making significant strides to combat human trafficking and support its victims. Founded by Rose Campbell, who herself endured the hardships of trafficking and the foster care system, the organization is rooted in the belief that “No One Is For Sale.”
Dying Inside Nonprofit offers comprehensive, trauma-informed programs designed to help survivors heal and rebuild their lives. Their S.U.R.V.I.V.O.R. Program provides mental health therapy, life skills training, animal-assisted therapy, and vocational opportunities, including a survivor-run farmers market. This holistic approach addresses the mental, emotional, physical, and financial aspects of recovery, empowering survivors to reclaim their identities and achieve independence.
Recently, the organization launched a new website, serving as a resource hub for survivors, donors, and supporters. In May 2025, they successfully raised over $7,000, which will aid in expanding their services, including opening a new safe house in Conroe, TX, and establishing a trauma-informed community center in Tennessee. These facilities aim to provide safe, supportive environments for survivors to heal and grow.
Dying Inside Nonprofit’s mission is clear: to restore hope, empower survivors, and advocate for a future where every individual is valued and free from exploitation. Their work is a testament to the resilience of survivors and the power of community support in combating human trafficking.
