At Victory For Veterans, Inc. (VFV) we've been super busy this year with back-to- back rides in Denver, CO, The Hill Country, Boerne, TX, and the North Houston Area Charity Ride, as well as the Heroes and High Rollers Casino/Dinner Night, so posting all of the great photos for this awesome ride this year has been very slow.

A big Thank you to the The Woodlands H.O.G Chapter #5402 for being the organizer and sponsor for the last 3 years of the Victory for Veterans - North Houston Area Charity Mortorcycle RIDE. Thank you Troy Harrison for leadership and support this year. Thank you to Cut N Shoot TX Chapter #540201 for their support over the last three years as well. The HOG Chapter #5402 is responsible for mapping out the route, organizing the stoping locations and providing riders at each stop for our Dice Roll. We really appreciated their help. We even offered to make a donation to the HOG Chatper for each year, but they refused to accept an anonymous donation for their support. They wanted it to go to the VFV Programs.

We want to thank Mike Kelton and the Hunger Crush Cafe for their great support at the start of this great ride. Best Breakfast Burrito's around. A big thank you our veteran friend Stephen Coxe, HOG Chapter Rider for lining up J&B Cycle Works this year as our finsihing location. It was a tight finish, but a lot T-Shirts and money was given away this year from VFV! VFV couldn't have pulled off this ride without all the organization and support provided by the HOG Members of #5402.

Here are some great photos of this year's ride and the HOG Chapter Supporters who really care about veterans and first responders, and the mission of Victory for Veterans, Inc. (VFV).

The Woodlands H.O.G. Chatper #5402 will be missed, but VFV will always carry on supporting our veterans and first responders.

Enjoy the photos and videos!

Warriors for Life (WFL) FREE Online Peer Support — "The Who, What, Why, Where, How, & When!"

Warriors for Life (WFL) FREE Online Peer Support Program

The Who! WFL is one of two programs that Victory for Veterans, Inc. (VFV), which is a 501c(3) non-profit, provides to Veterans, First Responders, Caregivers, Service Members, and all of these Warrior's families.

The What! What is Warriors for Life (WFL)? It is an Online Program designed to bring people together in a safe environment where they can connect with other liked-minded individuals experiencing invisible wounds, such as (PTSD) Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, (TBI) Traumatic Brain Injury, MST (Military Sexual Trauma), Trauma from accidents/disasters/transition, Depression, Anxiety, and other mental health issues, and work on the challenges they face in their day-to-day lives from the comfort of their home.

The Why! WFL was created out of love and loss by an Army Veteran after the su***de of a Vietnam Veteran on 8 December 2015, and then gifted to Victory for Veterans because VFV's mission is to provide su***de prevention and reduction for veterans and first responders. Our Vision is Where Hope, Support, and Healing come together.

The Where! WFL meets 365 days a year online through Zoom and provides different topics about invisible wounds and holistic methods to overcome challenges. Each evening, participants can join from the comfort of their home.

The How! People can join with an iPhone, Ipad, Laptop, or PC and it's very easy to connect. All of the facilitators are veterans, first responders, and civilian volunteers who have come up through the program starting out as regular participants of WFL. They know the path participants are walking and have become Peer Support Specialists and are there to welcome anyone into the Peer Group Sessions throughout the week. You can meet the Team Here: https://www.victoryforveterans.org/warriors-for-life-events.

The When! WFL meets 7 days a week in the evening. The times are posted to the VFV website: https://www.victoryforveterans.org/warriors-for-life-program.

OUR REQUEST! Some individuals are hesitant to join our meetings because of the stigma and judgment they've faced with their invisible wounds and we want to reach those people. We are asking everyone to share who we are and what support Victory for Veterans provides via WFL. If you know someone who is a veteran, first responder or a family member/caregiver, please ask them to join us for at least one meeting so they can learn more about what we do and how they can share their wisdom with others who may be able to learn from them. It’s free and there is no specific commitment for attendance. It’s come as you are and when you can to help those who have walked the same path. Since it’s an on-line community, participants can leave their cameras off and just listen if that is more comfortable. Sometimes, that’s what people need. We have found that once people are comfortable, they will open up and share their experiences which not only helps them, but it also helps others who may think no one will understand. We understand.

We thank you in advance for being our voice and sharing our program and mission with everyone you know that can help and in turn benefit from their peers in a safe environment - the more people that are aware, the more lives we can affect and save for another day.

Thank you,

Mikel J. Burroughs
