The Villages Wine Club golf tournament was held at Bonifay Country Club on Saturday July 19th. Mother Nature did not cooperate by giving us a fierce lightning storm after the tournament was on the first few starting holes. Thanks to all golfers that stayed on the golf course as long as possible before the lightning and thunder made it unsafe to continue. The awards dinner at Evans Prairie Country Club was great after the manager moved us inside the restaurant to get out of the storm. Our next tournament is planned for March hopefully without the heat and stormy weather.

The Villages Wine Club mixed scramble golf tournament scheduled for today at Bonifay Country Club has been moved to Saturday, July 19th, due to adverse weather conditions. The tournament will have a 5pm shotgun start with check-in at the golf shop at 3pm. There are a few openings due to player cancellations.

If interested contact Fred at [email protected]. The awards dinner will be in the breezeway at Evans Prairie Country Club following the tournament.

The Villages Wine Club is planning our 8th annual golf tournament on July 15th At Bonifay Country Club. This mixed scramble will feature nine holes on Pensacola with a 5pm shotgun tee time.
