There was a time in my life when I was living out of my car, moving from city to city, and fishing wasn't something I did to relax, it was how I survived. I kept a rod and reel in the trunk because if I didn't catch dinner, I didn't eat. That season built my faith, my discipline, and my resilience.

Today, that same water is where I teach young men about patience, responsibility, and believing in something bigger than their circumstances. What started as survival turned into purpose.

I'm grateful to be featured on the cover of Hook & Barrel. They told the story the right way.

The Steve Harvey Mentoring Program and Girls Who Rule the World are designed to inspire, equip, and empower young leaders ages 13–18 with the confidence, character, and life skills they need to thrive.

If you know a teen who would benefit from mentorship, guidance, and a strong community of support, we encourage you to register today and be part of something truly impactful.
