This is known as summer learning loss, and for many children it can mean starting the new school year already behind where they left off. Without access to continued learning opportunities, the gap can grow each year—making it harder for students to reach their full potential.
That’s why the Michael Finley Foundation is committed to supporting students beyond the traditional school year. Through our Summer Academy and year-round tutoring, we help students continue learning, building confidence, and developing the skills they need for long-term success.
Our founder, Michael Finley, created this program with a powerful purpose:
