HealthConnect One has been funded by the Elevance Health Foundation Inc. to expand our nationally recognized Community-Based Doula replication program 🤱🏾and recruit trainers to increase the workforce of community-based doulas in communities at high risk for adverse maternal outcomes due to health disparities/inequity in the following states: New York, Virginia, Georgia, Ohio, Indiana, and California.

I’ve been m.i.a.
I have been healing and taking care of my self. As you may know I have SLE (Lupus) and healing from a simple cold can take for ever.

It’s been a long time. I’ve been working on my placenta encapsulation course, which is nearly done. If interested in my virtual, self paced class send me your email via dm. I find it interesting though to learn that people who have taken my course are now teaching it with out giving their dues where their due. Even more surprised to see that a class that takes 2 days to do in person is being done in 4. To me that’s insane, it shows that short cuts are being taken. Which puts parents and babies at risk. Please do your due diligence and research who you’re giving your time and compensation too. Placenta encapsulators are here to help and support postpartum healing, not just make a couple bucks at the expanse of the community and professional. Anywho…like I said, you want to learn from an experienced PE professional, and how to keep your clients safe, send your email and take my next self paced class. #

Yup- our tree is up thanks to my little one. She loves the holidays and I’m so grateful. She’s a young lady now and can take some of the decorating on all by herself. Mean while, I’m nursing the worst flu ever, with some chamomile, peppermint, lemon and valerian root. Fingers crossed this clears the sinus pressure and warms my chest. I am your doula.
