New Settlement Program for Girls & Young Women

Free after-school and summer arts and leadership programming for girls and young women High school aged participants can earn a stipend for leadership programs.

Since 2005, New Settlement’s Program for Girls & Young Women provides free performing arts and leadership development programming after school for girls and young women aged 11-18. Programs meet once a week in the fall and spring semesters, Mon-Thurs afternoons, evenings and Saturdays. Summer programming for girls aged 10-15, plus SYEP work site (Peer Educators). **Currently, some programs are ful

Congratulations to Nakayla and Marlin! 🎉 We’re excited to share that two of our amazing seniors from the Program for Girls and Young Women (PGYW), have been selected to be honored at Girls Inc. of New York City’s College Shower during their annual Gala on May 7th!

They will be celebrated for their achievements and awarded scholarships and gifts as they head off to college. We’re so proud of them!"
