Many men face barriers when it comes to seeking care, especially around mental health.

By creating supportive, inclusive spaces and encouraging open dialogue, we can help more individuals feel comfortable accessing the care they need.

Health starts with conversation.

Sometimes the most powerful support is simply having someone who listens.

Mental health care isn’t just about services, it’s about connection, trust, and community.

This month, we encourage everyone to check in with someone who may need support.

Caring for your mental health doesn’t always require big changes. Sometimes, it starts with small, consistent steps -- like making time to rest, setting boundaries, or talking with someone you trust.

This month, we encourage everyone to take one step toward better mental wellness.

Mental health journeys look different for everyone. For many, opening up and seeking support can be life-changing.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we encourage individuals and families to have open conversations, check in with loved ones, and explore available resources.

April is Autism Acceptance Month, a time to recognize and celebrate individuals on the autism spectrum while promoting understanding, inclusion, and support.

For many families, navigating care, education, and services can come with challenges. That’s why creating supportive, inclusive communities is so important.

Acceptance means:
Listening to and respecting lived experiences
Ensuring access to quality care and resources
Building environments where individuals can thrive

Together, we can move beyond awareness and create a more inclusive future for all.

Did you know prevention saves lives — and money?

Cancer screenings and preventive care have helped avert millions of deaths in the U.S. over the past decades. Many of these are due to early detection and vaccination.

Every dollar spent on prevention can return multiple dollars in health benefits and cost savings.

Preventive services like blood pressure checks, vaccines, and routine screenings help find health issues early — when they’re easier to treat and less costly.

But too many people still miss out on these services. BCHN encourages you to talk to your health providers, stay up to date on screenings, and make prevention part of your family’s health plan!
