We have a great opportunity today at the Seneca Family Shelter in Hunts Point.

They’re having a Family Fun Day and we’ll be bringing the bouncy houses from Harvest Community Church, slime from World Vision, “God-tricks” by Henry Veras and the love of Jesus to the kids and parents!

Would you please keep us in prayer for this outreach for God to use us and for lives to be touched!

Would you consider helping The Prodigal Center?

I needed to get our State inspection done on The Prodigal Center’s van and it wouldn’t pass because the headlights don’t work. Mechanic found out that it was a wiring issue and needs to be done in order to pass.

Plus, the a/c has been out all summer long, as hot as it’s been and it needs a new compressor.

Parts and labor is around $1,800.00

We could sure use some help in covering these expenses!

Attending a 2 1/2 hour meeting with United Way so we can keep getting amazing produce and other food to support and help those in need in Hunts Point, Bronx at The Prodigal Center!

Grateful for our long-term relationship with United Way of NYC!

July is filled up with some great teams coming to The Prodigal Center!

June 29-July 3: Harvest Community Church, Goshen, IN is coming for the 4th year!

We’ll be doing night outreaches, working and serving at The Prodigal Center, Church on the street, Worship night and more!

July 7th: I’ll be preaching at TNCC, Bronx, NY

July 14th: I’ll be preaching in Ocean Isle, NC

July 21-26: Lakeshore Church, Rockwall, TX, serving at The Prodigal Center, VBS and Family Shelter Outreaches.

I’m amazed at how God hears our conversations, knows our needs, provides for us without our asking…

Here’s a testimony for you!

If you saw the post that I need to close
The Prodigal Center next week because I spent all the food grant money we’ve been given and so there’s no food coming.

Then this might encourage you.

I’m so thankful for people who saw that post and said they’d pray for us.

Just a few hours after posting that and without any initial calls, our rep from the United Way NYC called me (out of the blue) and asked how I was doing.

Without me saying anything to her, she said, I’m not sure if you can use it, but we have some left over funds that other agencies haven’t used and I was wondering if you could use it, but you’d have to spend the money right away!

I said, yes, of course and then I began telling her our dilemma of having to close down.

Since it’s the end of the fiscal year for United Way and all grant money needs to be spent, they look for agencies that use all the resources well and so that’s the reason she called me.

Well, God is so good that we were given $10,000 worth of food that has been delivered already this morning!!!!!!!

Shelf stable food, canned goods and more that we’ll be able to continue to feed the community.

I am blown away by the fact that the Lord loves the ministry of The Prodigal Center and provides in such an incredible way!!!

Let’s give God some glory for this!!!

Thankful for those who’ve sent exterminator references.

Contract signed with new company!

Food ordered for shipment on 5/17 and
The Prodigal Center is back up!

I’ve been receiving texts since before 6am with the line beginning to form at The Prodigal Center.

Mind you, we usually don’t start the line until 11a.

But because there’s no food, due to ordering issues, due to our exterminator not showing up, we will be CLOSED today and also next week!

‼️URGENT‼️

We need a new exterminator at The Prodigal Center!!

If you know of any in the Bronx who is affordable, cheap, FREE…please let me know!

In fact, because our current exterminator has left me hanging…we have no current extermination records and because of that we’re on hold for ordering any food to give out.

So, for at least the next two weeks we have to CLOSE in order to get this fixed.
