What every baseball parent learned from last night's heartbreaking ending:

Even in the major leagues, the game comes down to split-second decisions under impossible pressure.

A professional athlete, with years of training and experience, let the moment overwhelm him. One throw changed everything.

But here's what really struck me—watching his teammates immediately surround him. No blame. No anger. Just support.

That's the lesson for us parents.

Your young player will face moments just like this. Maybe not on national TV, but the pressure feels just as real to them.

The strikeout with bases loaded.
The error that costs the game.
The wild pitch that gets away.

In those moments, they don't need a coach. They don't need analysis of what went wrong.

They need what that professional got from his teammates—immediate, unconditional support.

They need to know that one mistake doesn't define them.
That you're proud of them for trying.
That tomorrow is a new game.

The pros have 162 games to bounce back. Your kid has you.

Make sure when they look up from their worst moment, they see love, not disappointment.
