BRAG joined RTG at their shooting response on Friday, August 21st at 761 Grote Street. We will continue to stand against gun violence and help our community by providing opportunities for the Bronx youths.



BRAG se unió a RTG durante su respuesta ante un tiroteo el viernes 21 de agosto, en el 761 de Grote Street. Seguiremos oponiéndonos a la violencia armada y ayudando a nuestra comunidad mediante la creación de oportunidades para los jóvenes del Bronx.

BRAG makes an appearance at SUV’s 2nd Annual Stop The Violence open street event. BRAG and SUV both share the same goal in stopping violence in our communities and by working together, we can make our streets safer for everyone. It was a pleasure to be a part of this event to the community and we appreciate everyone that came by our table to learn more about BRAG. Look forward to seeing us again next time.







BRAG participó en el segundo evento anual Alto a la violencia de SUV, una iniciativa de espacios abiertos a la comunidad. Tanto BRAG como SUV comparten el objetivo de frenar la violencia en nuestras comunidades; al trabajar juntos, podemos hacer que nuestras calles sean más seguras para todos. Last week on August 14th, BRAG joins the students and families of PS 246 at their Last Block Party event. BRAG would like to thank PS 246 for allowing us to attend their event. We will continue to work with Bronx schools to provide students with programs that will help their growth and keep them safe.







La semana pasada, el 14 de agosto, BRAG acompañó a los estudiantes y a las familias de la escuela PS 246 en su fiesta vecinal de cierre de temporada (*Last Block Party*). BRAG desea agradecer a la PS 246 por permitirnos asistir a su evento. Seguiremos colaborando con las escuelas del Bronx para ofrecer a los estudiantes programas que fomenten su desarrollo y velen por su seguridad.

On Saturday, August 8th, BRAG held its final bbq of the year to the community of Morris Ave. We hope everyone enjoyed themselves at our peace bbq. BRAG will continue to perform events for the community this year and the next so keep an eye on our posts.

On Thursday, Aug. 13th, BRAG NW took part in Senator Gustavo River’s Annual Backpack Giveaway & Resource Fair at St. James Park. With school just around the corner, BRAG gives away free book bags full of water bottles, pens and more to the families that came to the event so that their kids will better prepared for when they go back to school.
BRAG would like to thank Senator Gustavo for allowing us to attend his event and a round of applause to the team of BRAG NW for their dedication to our mission.







El jueves 13 de agosto, BRAG NW participó en la Feria de Recursos y Entrega Anual de Mochilas del senador Gustavo Rivera, celebrada en St. James Park. Con el regreso a clases a la vuelta de la esquina, BRAG obsequió mochilas —que incluían botellas de agua, bolígrafos y otros artículos— a las familias asistentes, para que sus hijos estuvieran mejor preparados para volver a la escuela.
BRAG desea agradecer al senador Gustavo por permitirnos participar en su evento y felicitar con un aplauso al equipo de BRAG NW por su dedicación a nuestra misión.

HEADS UP!!

BRAG’s last Peace BBQ of the year is tomorrow!!! The bbq will be at Morris Ave between 183rd St. and 184th St. starting at 12pm and ends at 5pm.
Bring your friends and family as we celebrate peace and love in our community with free food, games, music and more. Rain or Shine, nothing will stop us from supporting our community.

¡Mañana es la última barbacoa «Peace BBQ» de BRAG del año! El evento tendrá lugar en Morris Avenue, entre las calles 183 y 184, desde las 12:00 p. m. hasta las 5:00 p. m.

PEACE IN OUR STREETS!!!

Earlier this week, BRAG took part in the Save Our Youth Walk with Minister Andy King & The Bronx Youth Empowerment Program. We are proud to stand together in our shared goal of making our streets safer for the youths of the Bronx. We thank everyone that joined us in the walk, your support matters.

We will continue to perform and participate in events for the community so follow us to stay up to date.

A principios de esta semana, BRAG participó en la caminata “Save Our Youth” (Salvemos a Nuestra Juventud) junto al ministro Andy King y el programa Bronx Youth Empowerment Program. Nos enorgullece unirnos en el objetivo común de hacer que nuestras calles sean más seguras para los jóvenes del Bronx. Later today at 5:30pm, BRAG will be joining the Save Our Youth Walk. As part of our mission in stopping gun violence, BRAG has youth programs that provide opportunities and safe for their growth.
Join us as we walk from the Gospel Tabernacle Church at 3818 Barnes Ave. to 3915 Laconia Ave. Let’s all show our support in safer communities for everyone young and old!







Hoy a las 5:30 p. m., BRAG se unirá a la caminata “Save Our Youth” (Salvemos a nuestra juventud). Como parte de nuestra misión de poner fin a la violencia armada, BRAG cuenta con programas juveniles que ofrecen oportunidades y entornos seguros para el crecimiento de los jóvenes.

Ayer, 4 de agosto, el equipo de BRAG North regaló ropa a la comunidad durante el evento «Night Out Against Crime» en Co-op City. ¡Un agradecimiento especial al senador Jamaal Bailey, a la fiscal del distrito del Bronx, Darcel Clark, y a Alex Cheriyan, jefe de gabinete de nuestra propia organización Good Shepherd Services, por asistir y brindar su apoyo!
