Get • Grand Rising, and I hope you’re pouring into your cup!

This weekend we have back-to-back FreeStores.

Saturday, August 22nd, from 10 AM to 3 PM, we’ll be at the Community Resource Fair at JBOLC’s Farmers Market.

Bring your loved ones with you because you won’t want to miss a day of activities, vendors, thrifting and MORE.

Here’s the address: At James Baldwin Plaza near 100 W Mosholu Pkwy S, Bronx, NY 10468

Then, Sunday, August 23rd from 1 PM to 4 PM we’re going to be at the Riverdale Neighborhood House. A FREE cooked meal will be provided by the Food and Farm Interns at Community Cafe from 2 PM to 3 PM.

Lastly, we’ll be accepting donations at both events.

Here’s the list: Women’s winter clothes, Men’s winter clothes, Kids’ winter clothes, Home goods, Accessories, School supplies, Footwear, Pantry items, and Books.

(Anything stained, worn out, or unusable WILL NOT be accepted)

We're Turning 6!
🎂🎉🎈

Six years ago, COVID turned the world upside down. But we had Meg’s Garden, an Edible Forest, and an unused roadway where neighbors could safely gather outdoors.

With fresh vegetables from Clatter Valley Farm, local vendors, music, singing and dancing, our market was born.

Today, we’re still here and growing: a weekly community gathering under 100-year-old oak trees, bringing neighbors together around healthy food, nature and each other.

Thank you for being part of our Garden Community—along with the finches, butterflies, bunnies and plants that help feed our world.
