From overlooked space to economic engine…what was once 37,500 square feet of underutilized space beneath the Bruckner Expressway will become a platform for entrepreneurship, income, and community activity.

That’s the vision behind The Soundview Economic Hub, shared at YMPJ’s recent Fast Pitch. The Soundview Economic Hub is a vision to transform an underutilized space into a community hub for economic development and community resilience, using arts and culture programming as a gateway for improving resident wellbeing.

Our upcoming work on the site furthers our goal to achieve our ultimate vision. Using your support, we will continue to program the site, create a space for local businesses, and construct the first semi-enclosed area within the space.
