For years’ young ladies of upper crust society have had the distinct privilege and honor to attend finishing/charm school, thus preparing them for a successful future and presentation to their communities. Talitha Cumi Urban Etiquette & Leadership Academy has opened this closed-door society to urban young girls.

Through a series of workshops, special events, life skills training, community service opportunities, educational enrichment sessions, job preparedness and mentorships, our young ladies are engaged in activities which promote development of:

· New and positive relationships with peers and adults

· Confidence to take risks and learn from each other

· Sense of responsibility and commitment to program goals and peers

· Community service values

· Skills (leadership, health, beauty, educational & career)

We are proud to introduce our S.W.A.G.G. Movement Leadership and Debutante program, which is designed to empower girls in the New York City area. Along with our various training programs we have included two exciting programs “Jumpstart” which is a 15-year-old job readiness and leadership program and “BLAST” (Babysitter Lessons and Safety Training), approved by the American Academy of Pediatrics, trains youth in babysitting safety.
