FUEMS was proud to host our annual CPR day! It was a great opportunity for people to learn life saving CPR skills, as well as for our members to grow as teachers. Thank you to everyone who came to learn CPR, as well to our members who gave their time to teach others skills necessary in emergencies.

Member of the Month goes to our graduating Medical Chief and Director, Aria and Laurel!

Throughout their time at FUEMS, they have given countless hours to our organization, leading with precision, dedication, and genuine care. Because of them, we have been able to deliver the highest standard of care to the Fordham community while also building something just as important, a team grounded in trust, compassion, and respect for one another.

They have shaped the culture of FUEMS in a way that will last far beyond their time here. The way we work together, support each other, and show up for our patients is a direct reflection of their leadership.

We are endlessly grateful for everything they have given to this organization. As they graduate, we are so excited to see all that they will accomplish next. Once FUEMS, always FUEMS!

Every once in a while, we get the honor of celebrating incredible milestones and achievements within our FUEMS family. Today, we’re thrilled to celebrate one such moment for our own Director, Laurel K. Baxter. After years of dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment to her education and those around her, Laurel has received her first (of many, we’re sure) medical school acceptance! 🎉

This is a testament to her perseverance, passion, and the impact she’s made on everyone she’s worked with. We couldn’t be prouder, and we know this is just the beginning of the amazing things she will accomplish. Laurel, on behalf of all of us at FUEMS, we’re beyond excited to see the incredible things you will do next. To many more achievements and life-changing moments, not only for you but for everyone whose life you touch. We can’t wait to watch you leave your mark on the world. Congrats, Laurel! 💚🎉

It’s that time again! Time to celebrate that one member who made last month extra special. We are so excited to celebrate Abby Miga as the November Member of the Month. 🎉 She is a Biological Sciences and Psychology major from the class of 2026. Abby has been an incredible part of the FUEMS family. Whether she’s running, crafting, or enjoying her favorite spearmint tea on shift, Abby’s passion for helping others shines through. Thank you for all the amazing work you do for FUEMS and the Fordham community, Abby! P.S. She is also responsible for the beautiful drawings on the FUEMS whiteboard over the past few months. ALSO was recently her birthday! Happy Birthday, Abby!

The student responders who show up, serve others, and embody what it means to lead with compassion. ❤️

Last Sunday, our FUEMS members gathered for a Joint Staff Meeting full of fun and learning. We explored the history of EMS, and then things got festive with our Halloween costume competition! 🧙‍♀️🩺 Huge shoutout to everyone who dressed up and brought the Halloween spirit
