Open to teens age 14-19, Carnegie Hall offers after school programs three days a week October through June. Programs are free, and a metrocard and meal are provided every time.

All programs take place in the Resnick Education Wing, 154 W. 57th Street

Concert Production & Design
Tuesdays 4:00-6:30 PM starting October 5th (20 students)
Bring your artistic vision to life through sound, lighting, projection video, and all the things that make a live performance exciting. Learn hands on skills, visit NYC theaters, and work with professional designers and technicians to produce a concert for family and friends at Carnegie Hall.

Songwriting
Wednesdays 4:00-6:30 PM starting October 6th (20 students)
Write your own songs with the help of professional musicians, record in a studio, and perform for family and friends in a concert at Carnegie Hall.

Digital Music Production
Thursdays 4:00-6:30 PM starting October 7th (15 students)
Produce your own beats, learn technical skills, and work with professional musicians to create and record your own music. Perform for family and friends in a concert at Carnegie Hall.

Plus an Open Studio every Saturday from 1-5 pm.

SBRT's All Begin a Career Collaborative Action Network has joined the MLK SUNY-ATTAIN Lab and local elected officials Assemblyman Michael Blake, Senator Gustavo Rivera, and Councilwoman Vanessa Gibson to host a Career Readiness Success Series -- two weeks of daily workshops for job seekers in the South Bronx leading up to the Bronx Job Fair at Hostos Community College. It is a great project that leverages the strengths of many partners, with workshops provided by Bronx Educational Opportunity Center, The Children’s Aid Society’s Next Generation Center, The Knowledge House, Montefiore Medical Center, Osborne Association, Phipps Neighborhoods and others.

Over 60 employers from across all sectors will be at Friday's Job Fair. Please spread the word!
