The HopeLine

The HopeLine has been serving the needs of the South Bronx Community for over 30 years. The HopeLine serves families in need by fulfilling their basic needs.

Food Pantry
Each household receives food once a month. People feel less stress and burden when they do not have to worry about where their next meal will come from, and children who aren't hungry can concentrate better in school. Diaper Center
The first diaper distribution center of its kind in the Bronx, and one of a handful in New York City, mothers in need receive diapers once a month to help f

ulfill the gap when they cannot afford expensive diapers. Along with the diapers parents also receive wipes, baby food, and other baby essentials.

Executive Director Maria Cintron recently hosted a tour with Food Bank For New York City and friends. They pick a handful of agencies to show to their funders/partners and we were chosen to show our good work.

We recently welcomed Landon back to volunteer with us and he was kind enough to donate 290 diapers as well. What a rock star!

We are so fortunate to have wonderful partners! Our first ever Community Baby Shower brought us Veronica from Way of New York City and Cheyenne and Gloria with Ancient Song Doula Services.

They brought life and love to our event, sharing themselves and their organizations with our families.
