The Harlem River Working Group (HRWG) is an active coalition that grew out of small planning meetings between park advocates, environmental organizations, community organizations, and the Bronx Borough President’s Office in late 2008. The Harlem River Working Group is working to connect community members and community organizations with one of our greatest natural resources in the Bronx, the Harle

m River, and to work together with our elected officials and our local, city, state and federal officials to develop connections to and along the Harlem River and create on water access and activities.
