Always Strive and Prosper Foundation, The Bronx, NY (2026)

The Always Strive and Prosper Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to providing young people with accessible and realistic education about substance use and abuse. Established in honor of the late Steven “A$AP Yams” Rodriguez, founder of the hip-hop collective A$AP Mob, the Foundation has the unique opportunity to engage young people through the performing and visual arts. We believe it is our responsibility to provide the best available information without judgment or morality. In doing so, we strive to promote healthy lifestyle choices both within our local communities as well as globally. Through the participation of experts in the area of substance use and appealing social media campaigns, we aim to create an honest dialogue about substance use and abuse. The Foundation will demonstrate its commitment by implementing several initiatives including, but not limited to, sponsoring public school programs, hosting drug education seminars, supporting music and arts programs, and producing concerts and festivals.

WE BACK IN SCHOOL!!!  
This year was extremely proud and honored to unite forces, align the love and give back to community as part of a 10 year legacy that has continued to positively impact the District 1 community and thousands of family members in the Lower East Side. is about giving back and paying it forward while best enabling our youth for their greatest possible future. The day was amazing, the kids had a great time, the rain never came, performances were awesome, the raffles were a hit, the Governor of New York, Kathy Hochul showed up and showed out and and we all had FUN! We have taken the school push from Harlem, to Washington Heights and for the last 4 years we have been in the Lower East Side however this year we grew through collaboration, participation and intentional care with great community orgs and the exceptional big brothers of We got bigger so we got better!

This Sunday AUGUST 30!!! WE BACK … TO SCHOOL!  
The Always Strive and Prosper Foundation is now a proud partner of a charitable legacy that has positively impacted the District 1 community for over 10 years.The Always Strive and Prosper Foundation has worked for over 9 years to make the back to school rush a moment of giving back and getting the young minds of our future ready and able to show up with the supplies, backpacks, and good energy needed for a new academic year. We have taken the school push from Harlem, to Washington Heights and for the last 3 years we have been in the Lower East Side with The 360 Academy and many others supporters. However this year we are extremely excited to collaborate, participate and donate our efforts with the great community leaders of Why Not Care and combining forces for the Martin Medina. Why Not Care said if we go bigger we go better! So let’s get it together.

Please help us make this a special one by showing up, donating to the donor box link in the bio, bringing add-ons of food, love, or energy and bringing your kids, little brothers or sisters, nieces or nephews and showing out for and incredible function next week August 30th at P.S. 142!!!!

Years of service, hard work, fun, love and an outreach. We give extreme thanks to our partners who have supported our distribution of over 50 thousand text kits throughout NYC for over the last 6 years. We greatly appreciate our newly established partnership with NYC Health helping us to increase our work and support for those looking for safer use and information in our communities. Special thanks to WiseBatch RiseBoro Community Partnership Brooklyn Org Tati Paulino Darryl Phillips Aza badgalriri Dana Rachlin and all of our cooperative venues, depots, donors and volunteers who have been the greatest comrades in this journey.

We were truly blessed to host the 8th Annual Mother’s Day Celebration in partnership with . 30 extraordinary moms enjoyed fine vegan cuisine & spirits at the beautiful 🥂 a truly magical magic show by the whimsical 🪄 stunning portraits by the talented 📸 and a host of finely curated gift bags.

Thank you for the endless dedication to ending overdose deaths & teaching us how to hold joy and grief. 🦋
