Cardio, strength, coordination—and RESILIENCE! 💜💛

That’s what you can expect in our Saturday Capoeira class for teens and adults.

Capoeira challenges your body, pushes you outside your comfort zone, and gives you an incredible sense of accomplishment when you realize you made it through.

We build from the basics because good fundamentals and solid technique never go out of style😉

Come challenge yourself and grow with us! 🤸🏽‍♀️🥁

to 2019! 🥁♻️ to one of our first rehearsals for our biggest annual event scheduled for 2020. We were preparing a Batucada performance using recycled materials to raise awareness about recycling —with special guest Professor Caboclo!

Capoeira is more than exercise—it’s art, movement, culture, music, and community. ❤️

Our brothers and sister, Instrutores Chuvisco, Sereia, and aluno Simba came to New York for the first time, all the way from Curitiba, Paraná 🇧🇷.
They are students of Mestre Piriquito and part of the beautiful project Capoeira e Cidadania, bringing their talent, discipline, and powerful energy to The Bronx🔥

I am extremely proud of the way our Bronx students welcomed them with respect and brotherhood. This exchange shows the true strength of capoeira — connecting hearts, cultures, and generations through one rhythm. ⚡

Grateful for this moment and for this family that keeps growing around the world 🌎💛
