In Loving Memory of Officer Kalvin Rosario

The Co-op City Police Benevolent Association extends its deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of Officer Kalven Rosario.

Kalvin’s journey in service began right here with us, at the Co-op City Police Department, where he stood side-by-side with his academy class — our class, our brotherhood. From day one, he demonstrated the heart, discipline, and leadership of a true public servant.

Before entering law enforcement, Kalvin had already proven his courage and dedication by serving our nation as a United States Marine. That same warrior spirit carried him through the next chapters of his career: the NYPD, the NY/NJ Port Authority Police, and ultimately U.S. Customs and Border Protection, where he continued serving with honor and pride.

His loss is devastating to all who knew him. But our hearts are especially with his son, the person he cherished above all else. We pray that his son grows knowing that his father was a Marine, a protector, a devoted father, and a man who lived a life of service. He will forever have an extended blue family to stand behind him, support him, and honor his father’s legacy.

To the Rosario family: please know that you do not mourn alone. From Co-op City to the halls of CBP, from the Marines to every officer whose life he touched, Kalvin leaves behind a legacy of courage, integrity, and brotherhood.

May Officer Kalvin Rosario rest in eternal peace.
May God bring comfort, strength, and healing to his son and to all who are grieving this profound loss.

With deepest sympathy and respect,
The Co-op City Police Benevolent Association
🕊️💙🙏
