Healthy Community Corp is a non for profit foundation created by community members to build a healthier community in the Allerton Ave section of The Bronx and newley the Capital Region of NY. Healthy Community Corp was influenced by members working with LA Commons in Los Angeles, CA on activism in the sense of creating a healthy community within your own community while doing this artistically. Using the book "A Little Radical" by Danica & Jason Russell and being able to have a conversation with the authors it inspired us to create a non for profit orginzation that will impact our community for future residents to enjoy.
