You don’t have to have a mental illness, something wrong with you, or be “crazy”, to know how important it is to manage life as a human being, & there’s only one way to do so… by taking care of your mental wellness.
It’s really hard to just live and exist in this world and not many would admit that out loud…
because we are all living in a society that says weakness is for those with emotions, yet it takes strength to allow yourself to be emotional enough to sit with your hardships and face them so you can do something about them.
How we sit, face, and deal with life and ourselves evolves as we age, there is no singular answer to happiness because happiness comes with each life phase you learn to get the most out of…. By sitting, facing, and dealing with life’s problems and no ones knows how to do that, there’s no life manual on how to be human, right?
Well, actually there is…. It’s called therapy sessions, a living and breathing manual that gives you all the answers you need to fix and improve those inevitable problems you don’t know what to do with or how to cope with.
I know it’s easier said than done; seeking help and maintaining it with little to no resources at your disposal, so start small then….
•JOURNAL your thoughts either through written, video, or vocal recordings. Getting those thoughts out to reflect on them allows you to take more control than you think possible.
•MEDITATE in silence so you can practice controlling those intrusive thoughts from taking over your mind when you don’t want them to. Allowing your mind to wander when you say so is exercising having a say over how your thoughts process and avoids public meltdowns and/or unwanted controversies
•EXERCISE to get those endorphins pumping to help your practicing meditation thought processes into positive thoughts, boosted by those endorphins. Your mind never gets excited over negative thoughts but those endorphins will have you feeling invincible enough to convince you to tackle that project you’ve been procrastinating on due to unwanted depression.
