NIMBA COUNTY DEFEATS B**G IN KICKBALL AND FOOTBALL EXHIBITION MATCHES AHEAD OF NCSM

Ahead of the 2026/2027 National County Sports Meet (NCSM), B**g County’s kickball and football teams suffered defeats against their Nimba County counterparts during exhibition matches held at the Gompa Sports Stadium in Nimba County.
In the kickball encounter, the Nimba County girls secured a 2–0 victory over B**g County, while the Nimba County boys also recorded a 2–0 win over their B**g County counterparts.
Following the matches, a strong supporter of B**g County expressed disappointment over the team’s performance and called on the technical staff to reconsider the selection of two players ahead of the county’s crucial campaign.
The supporter specifically questioned the inclusion of the left-back and goalkeeper Poole, arguing that players who had not participated in the team’s training sessions should not be favored over those who had been preparing consistently with the squad.
Speaking to sports journalists in Nimba County after the exhibition matches, the supporter voiced concerns about the team’s preparations and player selection ahead of the upcoming national sporting festival.
The exhibition matches are expected to provide both counties with an opportunity to assess their squads, identify weaknesses, and make necessary adjustments before the 2026/2027 National County Sports Meet.
