Most Healthy Bronx is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 Visionary Scholars Award. These three outstanding Bronx students embody vision, originality, and a commitment to health equity that inspires us all.

Jada highlighted the health disparities facing Bronx residents and her commitment to advancing equity through science and service. She shared her vision of using biological sciences to close the health gap in underserved communities, combining academic training with grassroots outreach.

Camille emphasized the importance of addressing mental health in the Bronx with urgency equal to physical health. Her essay focused on stigma, access, and early intervention, envisioning safe spaces and culturally responsive support for children and adolescents.

Jevon reflected on the role of civic leadership in shaping healthier futures for the Bronx. He described how his experiences motivated him to pursue political science as a path toward stronger healthcare access, education, and equity, with a vision of building community resilience through leadership rooted in service and systemic change.
