This Crime Stoppers Program began in 1991 to serve the City of Texas City and was originally known as the Texas City Crime Stoppers Program. Since its inception, the program evolved into serving several other cities within Galveston County thus prompting the name change to the Mainland Communities Crime Stoppers Program. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of past and present board members, pro

gram members, community leaders, area businesses and all of the involved law enforcement agencies, the Mainland Communities Crime Stoppers Program has become an effective tool in fighting crime in the Galveston County area and beyond.
