Mission Galveston is a ministry of Galveston Baptist Association, established in 1999 with a few volunteers and $100.00. Mission Galveston’s purpose was to help the homeless and assist the low income family with their spiritual and their physical needs. A few years later (2002), a branch of Mission Galveston was established in Texas City called Mission Texas City which focuses on the low income fa
milies in that community. Mission Galveston - Santa Fe & Texas City opens every other Saturday from 9 am to 11 am for homeless people
Every week we serve/minister to an average of 60 to 65 people and provide them with worship services, food, clothing, and hygiene items. Home of Hope Orphanage (India & Uganda)
In 2003, Mission Galveston started its outreach to overseas. Mission Galveston started its first Orphanage in Kerala, MinIstries among HIV infected people, Sewing institute and a tutoring center. Every year Mission Galveston does a 15 day Mission Trip to India and Uganda. While we are there we hold a Vacation Bible School for the local Children. Opportunities
